Sirtazi Support Foundation (SSF) is a NGO with registered office at LUCKNOW (UP) since September 2010.  SSF indulge with the Socio -Economic Development Sector with focus on the social welfare activities for the communities. SSF also is an academic association with focus and dedication to research, training as per the rising requirementsand organizes events required for growth and development of the stated sector of its indulgence.

Credibility and accountability have always been the benchmark for SSF and its achievements are through the promotion of principles of good governance in the processes and practices. SSF excels, through the framework of values and principles that foster a culture of achievement and adherence to high ethical standards – that tend to bring out the best in people, discourage negative behaviors, and improve the ability of people to work well with each other. An effective governing body has ensured that such a framework exists and will also ensure that structures and mechanisms are in place to help people develop and utilize their potential as fully as possible to optimize the organization’s performance in furtherance of its mission. In addition to performing the governance functions required by law or dictated by best practices, the focus was more on the long-range strategic plans than the short term and tactical processes. SSF is concerned more with matters of paramount importance rather than operational procedures only. 

SSF has excelled over the sizeable periods of time and have been able to sustain by having strong leadership over the time. SSF has been having good governing bodies and effective chief executives, and they aspire to become something better than what they have been. They have been indulging constantly with more and more learning, building on their experiences, developing their people, and thus these resulted in improving their results. The most effective board and the most effective executives go hand in hand. You won’t find one without the other for very long. Unfortunately, the converse is also true. The perpetually troubled organizations have neither effective boards nor effective executives.

To its credit, SSF has an Advisory Board of well-known experts in the field. Their expertise and experienced skills have helped in developing the sector as well in the development of SSF. Having successfully executed many assignments including monitoring and evaluation studies as well as time-line surveys, SSF has developed core competence in the areas of Research, Consulting and Training besides providing Implementation Support to various Government and Non-Government Organizations.  The Socio-Economic Development Sector do include Social Welfare and Development, Economic Development, Health, Education, Rural Development and so on.
