Dr. Padam Singh: Dr. Singh is a distinguished survey statistician of international repute with over four decades rich experience of research in the social sector and continues to grace our Advisory Board as Chairman. He as well guides our research and evaluation team comprising of young professionals on various assignments in the Social Development Sector from time to time.
Dr. Singh has served as Member-Chairman of National Statistical Commission GOI. He has occupied senior positions in the Central Government before his superannuation from the position of Addl. Director General of Indian Council for Medical Research ICMR (1997-2004). He has served in Planning Commission as Joint Adviser for eight years and contributed in the preparation and appraisal of Sixth and Seventh five year plans, and was a member of working groups of Planning Commission including Vision 2020. Dr. Singh has made original contributions in Survey Sampling, which are a part of Post Graduate-Text books. He has steered many Operational Research studies of national relevance including projects on livelihoods, as well as large-scale baseline, midline and end-line surveys like AHS, NFHS, DLHS, CENRHM and many more.

CORE TEAM OF SSF
SSF is staffed with a large-sized core team and project staff covering various disciplines like qualitative/quantitative research, social welfare, public health, urban health, nutrition, demography, statistics, economics, rural development, etc. Details of a few professionals is given below:
Mr. A.P. Tripathi, is Secretory to SSF and also heads the Field Operations and Capacity Development verticals in it. A versatile genius, Mr. Tripathi holds masters degree in a Social Work (MSW) along with LLB from Lucknow University. He is responsible for leading the organization’s field operations throughout the country and ensures operational excellence organization-wide. Before becoming an integral part of SSF, he has worked with various agencies, companies and institutions. He personifies highest degree of commitment towards the organization, providing able leadership to its people at its cause.
He has around two decades of experience in undertaking social sector projects involving management and capacity building of large teams of research investigators and master trainers for voluminous data collection in large scale surveys namely DLHS-3, AHS, etc. He has successfully conceptualized, planned and executed scores of assignments pertaining to Monitoring & Evaluation, Quantitative Research, Impact assessment, Large-scale Surveys, besides conducting Training & Capacity Building Programmes, particularly in the field of Health, Women & Child Development and Family Welfare.
Mr. Ashish Gupta: He is Post Graduate in Sociology from Kanpur University. Mr. Gupta has Sixteen years of experience in Intensive field operations. He has successfully completed about 20 projects for various national and international Government department agencies as well as, including large-scale projects like DLHS, AHS, NFHS that involved handling and management of large data sets. Mr. Gupta is instrumental in ensuring the quality of Data pertaining to various socio-economic surveys and its subsequent processing and tabulation.
Mr. Surendra Singh Bora: A master in social work from Lucknow University. Mr. Bora possesses rich professional experience of nearly two decades in the Research and Development. Within the span of his long and illustrious career, Mr. Bora has successfully conceptualized, planned and executed various capacity building programmes, research studies and impact assessment studies in the field of Health, Women and Child Development and Family Welfare. Associated with SSF, Mr. Bora has been instrumental in conducting and array of studies for various International Agencies & Government departments like Constella Futures, Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Population Foundation of India (PFI), Intra Health International Inc., MoRD, NHFW, UPHSDP, etc. He developed manuals regarding the trainings imparted to ASHAs for delivering their services and also monitored the training programs.
Ms. Ekta Singh is leading Finance & Gen. Admin. in SSF. Ms. Singh is a Post Graduate in Social Work. She is talented and enthusiastic professional, with a work experience of five years and exceptional ability to handle crisis situation with minimum of supervision. She has been also instrumental in designing and implementing various capacity building projects for socio-economic development of Urban and Rural Women Folk.
Dr. Priyanka Shukla:Dr Priyanka is Bachelors in Dental Surgery from Saraswati Dental College Lucknow and M.BA in Hospital and Healthcare Administration from IIHMR, Jaipur.She has executed healthcare projects in SSF and is the project coordinator for several projects in healthcare and social and development sector.
Mr. Ashok Sharma: provides leadership to organization’s Fund Raising and Business Development operations as well as executing organization’s business strategy of acquiring work from closed circuits as well as open market. A post-graduate professional, Mr. Sharma has the unique ability to get along easily with both clients & colleagues. Mr. Sharma is responsible for leading the organisation’s lateral growth, overseeing strategy for corporate development and leading the innovation agenda. He has been instrumental in forging and sustaining strategic partnerships with the client organizations, by virtue of his strong and unparalleled intellect in his domain coupled with a charming personality. He has been associated with leading organizations and corporate houses for human and organization development on various functional management themes. He has acumen for identifying opportunities, developing strategies and new propositions with execution capabilities of setting up and leading organization, negotiating alliances and strategic deals, as well as raising capital.
Mr. Mahendra Singh: Mr Mahendra Post Graduate in Social Science from Awadh Univercity . He has twelve years of experience in Socio-economic surveys (Intensive Field Work), Sanitation, Human Health, Women Empowerment, Poverty, Rural Development, Computer Data Processing and Mapping. He has attended many training programmes & workshops. Mr.Singh has exceptional skills in programme designing, participatory monitoring, appraisal, organizational development, training and capacity building.
Mr. Gyanendra Singh: He is Post Graduate in Sociology from Kanpur University. He has twelve years of experience in conducting the training programmes and Intensive fieldwork. Mr. Singh has successfully completed more than 20 projects for various agencies. Mr. Sing is a very talented and enthusiastic professional.
Mr. Nand Kumar Gupta: Mr. Gupta is Master in Sociology from Awadh University. A diligent and confident team leader with strong analytical and presentation skills, Mr. Gupta has successfully completed about 15 projects for various national and international agencies as well as Government Department. He has spent a substantial number of years of his career in social development sector in project conceptualization and implementation, regulation of socio-economic surveys, monitoring and evolution of studies and developing tools for capacity building.
Mr. Gyannendr Kumar: Mr. Kumar is also a confident and poised personality with excellent interpersonal skills. He is Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Rajasthan. He has successfully completed various projects for various National Agencies as well as Government Departments, including large-scale projects like DLHS-3, AHS, CE-NRHM, which involved handling and management of large data sets.
Mr. Sidhant Verma: Mr. Verma is postgraduate in M.com from University of Lucknow. Mr. Verma possesses rich professional experience of nearly one decade in the fields of Health, Rural Development and Agriculture.
OTHER STAFF STRENGTH
Further, SSF has a dedicated team of data entry operators and data analysts who are well versed with management of data and competent in data analysis using statistical software. Supplementing the above mentioned staffing; SSF also has an access to 140 empanelled short-term experts from different areas of specialization across the country.
